Guidance and manufacturer’s declaration
The Edge ultrasound system contains an IEEE 802.11 transmitter that utilizes the ISM frequency
band from 2.412 to 2.4835 GHz and implements two methods of transmission:
• IEEE 802.11b with Complementary Code Keying (CCK), Differential Quaternary Phase Shift
Keying (DQPSK), and Differential Binary Phase Shift Keying (DBPSK) at 16 dB
• IEEE 802.11g with Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) at 13 dBm
